Akseli Gallen-Kallela had a variety of different haircuts during his lifetime. He was most celebrated as an outstanding painter, printmaker, illustrator and architect. Nevertheless, the Finnish painter was especially known for his remarkable sense of fashion and his delightful character. Before his tragic demise at the age of 66 he was frequently talked about in magazines and tabloids due to his marvelous haircuts.
